Seborrhea

Seborrhea
Seborrhea is a dysfunction of the sebaceous glands, leading to excessive production of sebum, which makes the scalp and hair abnormally oily. Oily hair appears shiny, sticky, and gets dirty more quickly.
The accumulated sebum often oxidizes, causing an unpleasant odor. Excessive sebum can also accelerate hair loss.
Causes of seborrhea include: dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system, hormonal imbalances, poor diet, certain medications, overly aggressive shampoos, frequent touching and brushing of the hair, and environmental pollution.
In some cases, seborrhea is closely related to pityriasis (dandruff). The fungus Pityrosporum ovale breaks down sebum triglycerides, increasing the amount of free fatty acids, which are irritating and stimulate skin flaking.

TREATMENT PROTOCOL:

Exfoliant
1.3 Dixidox de Luxe Peeling (200 ml | 500 ml)
Apply to dry or wet scalp and massage gently. Leave on for 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with water. Use once a week.
The antiseborrheic effect of the peeling can be enhanced by adding about 8 sprays of 1.4 Dixidox de Luxe Lotion for Oily Hair before application and mixing them together.

Shampoos
1.1 Dixidox de Luxe Shampoo for Oily Hair (200 ml | 500 ml)
and
2.1 Dixidox de Luxe Anti-Dandruff Shampoo (200 ml | 500 ml)
Apply to the hair, gently massage until foam forms. Leave for a few minutes, then rinse. It is recommended to alternate between these two shampoos.

Lotion
1.4 Dixidox de Luxe Lotion for Oily Hair (100 ml | 200 ml)
Spray approximately 10 times on dry or damp scalp, then massage. Use daily for 10 days. Gradually reduce the frequency of use as sebum production normalizes.
It can also be used once a week for prevention.
