Brittle Hair

Brittle Hair
Hair tends to break when it loses its elasticity — due to lack of moisture or keratin depletion. It becomes dull, porous, and coarse, giving the impression of a thinner, lifeless mane with no density or vitality.
With age, hair density decreases, strands become thinner and more fragile. Weakened and brittle hair breaks easily and feels rough to the touch. This can affect all hair types and lengths, although long hair is the most vulnerable.
The causes of brittle hair vary: use of poor-quality dyes, bleaching, frequent exposure to high temperatures (blow-dryers, flat irons), skipping conditioner, aggressive brushing, and an unbalanced diet that weakens the hair fibers.
